MAPs for Inyokern CA to Seabrook NH

Not much to comment on this leg.

Gallup is about a one day run and the blue moon (?) indicates
a days run from IKI @ 60mph ave and 12 hours.

Amarillo is a good breakfast stop and fuel if you need it. I
think you should be able to make Okla City, but don't push it.

Good fueling station (large Love truck stop) on I 55 just
before turn onto I 44 (toll road). Probably E Britton Rd or E Hefner Rd.

Run to Tulsa not bad. Used to have a Sister in Law in Sapulpa
(note blue moon) and we made the trip in about 25 hours from R/C nonstop
during the 55 max speed era.

I 244 beltway is new and makes Tulsa easy. You will have
another toll gate when you get on I 44.

No tolls after Oklahoma until you get to New York on I 90.

St Louis Vicinity: Transit from I 44 to I 55N to I 70E. Watch
the I 55 segment It happens fast with combo left and right exits. Gets a bit
confusing after pass over Mississippi but stay on I 55 and you will exit right
onto I 70.

Indianapolis is not bad through center of town if traffic is
light (say 2:30am) They may direct you to the northern beltway but I like the
southern segment (larger map below for this).

Indianapolis Beltway: I 70 S/E on I 495 and E on I 70 again.
Can go through town but congested

Columbus OH: Going E on I 70 then N on I 270 and then N on I
71

Continue N or E on I 71 Up to I 90 and I 90 through PA to
Buffalo NY

Continue N/E on I 90. There will be a toll gate at the NY
border (pick up ticket). Before Buffalo pay first NY Thruway toll. As you bear
East at Buffalo stay on I 90 and pick up second ticket at toll gate. Stay on I
90 to Albany where it merges with I 87S. Take I 87S. The sign will say Mass Pike
stay on I90. But you have to go out of one toll gate and go on another
when you get to I 90 (Mass Pike).

I 87 has a connector to I 90 Mass Pike Near Mass border will
have the toll gate for the Buffalo to Mass leg of the New York Throughway. You
will get another ticket at the Mass border for the Turnpike.

Continue on Mass Pike to Auburn (Exit 10 ? it is next exit after
"Sturbridge"). When you come off you will have to stay to the right at
toll booth (trucks and trailers). When you leave toll booth you need to take the
left hand fork in the road ahead toward I 290. I believe you will be on SR395
until you cross over the Turnpike (next panel). Through Worcester it is very
congested (depending on time of day. But generally I 295 will bear left as you
leave town.

The I 290 I 495N junction is another bitch and it is a left
offramp from I 290. The off ramp is well marked and you do not have to backtrack
on 290 like it shows on the above. That was ten years ago.

When you get around Lowell and Lawrence there will be much congestion at about
any time of the day.
Try to get there before 3:00pm. Actually I 495 after 4:30pm is a zoo. Note also
that most three lane roads restrict trucks (and trailers) to the right two
lanes.

I 495 merges with I 95 stay to the right because SR 286 (Exit
60) takes off to right after the chute you just came off of.

After exiting I 95 onto SR 286 go
straight through the first light at Main St, take a left at the next light and
then continue on SR 286 through two more lights until it ends at SR 1A (last
light). Take a left (north) on 1A to .....

....Nashua St. Take a right to the end of the block (stop
sign), our house will be on the NE corner of Atlantic and Nashua. The address is
18 (really 49 since it is between 47 and 51) and will soon change due to 911
statewide numbering. Phone is (603) 474 9609. Depending on what day it is
(weekends are a bitch at the beach) I may have an alternate parking site until
we can unload. It would be a good idea to call me when you get close, or if you
are on a govt. cell, I can call you if you plug it in. Hey did you fix the fuse
in the lighter socket?
Stop sign at Nashua and Atlantic. We are the one in the front. Park in the
driveway and I will park it in the back if it is not on the weekend. If it is I
will have to park my cars in the back on Friday and back the trailer into the
garage. So call me when you are close and I will at least be on the porch to
wave you in.
